'Hope and Glory' depicts a group of eclectic characters watching a horse race on TV in a pub, each face revealing a different emotion, hope, tension, excitement, and despair. The scene captures the highs and lows of gambling, the shared thrill of chance, and the chaotic energy of people fully invested in the fleeting luck of the moment. As long as the red dice are in the air, the gambler has hope: 'And hope is a wonderful thing to be addicted to.' - Norm Macdonald,
