The first five paintings entered are part of an ongoing series which explores off-kilter cityscapes and imagined terrains, informed by influences ranging from classical and Renaissance explorations of perspective to contemporary design. I use form, colour, and spatial tension not only as structural tools but as carriers of mood and memory. Architectural elements are reduced, shifted, and re-weighted, blurring the line between place and feeling.
