Chilli and lime are not only a staple combination in Indian cuisine, but are also strung into garlands which are hung above doors to ward off evil spirits. I wanted to present the compatibility of the hot and sour flavours of these fruits through my painting, showcasing the various shades of green to be as visually appealing as they are delicious!
