I have been painting Steven McRae, principal at The Royal Ballet for several years & last year he kindly posed for me as the Mad Hatter from Christopher Wheeldon's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" -a ballet adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic story.The role choreographed and created specifically for him at The Opera House, notably to incorporate tap and ballet!
