Since 2019, Hong Kong has experienced a big wave of immigration, it has been driven by political and social factors. Encountering tough and difficult decisions making, lots of pressures, hesitates and uncertainties about their future, all of them are struggle with leaving behind their homes and families. As one of hundreds of thousands, I would like to capture and record these moments and complex feelings. Therefore, this is how the idea of the «Depart Series» be started.
