My practice centres around my desire to chronicle the ever changing natural world around me. This is one of an ongoing series of tree portraits; the often deformed and battered ivy-clad sentinel oaks which punctuate the field margins and are particularly characteristic to the rural landscape of Suffolk where I am based.
