My paintings explore the connection between beauty and frailty. A recurring theme in Art History. Using fashion imagery as my subject, aligns with this way of thinking. The models emerge from abstract marks, giving a feeling of a moment caught in time. Like glimpsing a beautiful face in a crowd. Their direct gaze conveys confidence and sensuality.
