Fascination for the human form has been with me since a young child; biological and spiritual connections for how human energy expresses itself using the body blows me away. Capturing the essence of the figure and the soul behind the being will always be my quest as an artist - I'm always learning, trying to capture and communicate as true as I can using my method of loose impressionism with oils and charcoal. Oil for paintings and charcoal drawings, they work with me as both have a life of their own - trying to control them is not something I want, we work together to project as much beauty for the viewer as possible

Originally born and raised on our farm in Staffordshire from 1971, I moved to study Fashion Design in London (Ravensourne) in the early 90s, then worked in PR for iconic British Fashion and Interior brands for the past 25 years, finally settling in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, UK raising 2 daughters with my husband Ed. I have been selling my oil paintings of still life since returning to art again 4 years ago, and have now forged good relations with collectors. I am currently studying the Portrait Diploma at Heatherley's School of Fine Art (started in September 2022 to current day in 1st year) to enhance my painting and drawing skills, it really has already made a huge difference.
