Earthenware Clay
h: 35 w: 23 d: 10 (cms).
Inspired by birds. This jug is slender and tall with a pointed beak and gold luster wing plumage handle. I've used layers of oxides and underglaze colours to do abstact painting with a transparent earthenware glaze. It's finished with a gold lustre handle and gold highlights.

Inspired by birds and garden creatures this jug stands on lookout ready to swoop and catch its prey. I've used layers of oxides and underglaze colours to add abstract painting beneath a transparent earthenware glaze. I've then used gold lustre on the handle and highlights to add sparkle and light.
