Naomi Arbuthnot-Barwise (b. 1995) is an award-winning printmaker based in Derry, Northern Ireland. She holds a HND in Fine Art from North West Regional College and a BA in Fine Art Printmaking from Belfast School of Art.
Her practice combines traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques, including silkscreen, linocut, and hand-drawn illustration. Her work is characterised by a bold graphic style and thoughtful use of colour.
Drawing inspiration from local landscapes, everyday life, motherhood, and books, Naomi creates work that captures intimate moments with a quiet sense of escapism and imagination.
Arbuthnot earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Belfast School of Art in 2019, and obtained a ‘Outstanding Student Award’ from the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts. Recent exhibitions include Society Of Women Artist’s 165th Annual Exhibition 2026.
