Rosie enjoys painting directly from observation wither outside en plein air immersed in the landscape or back in the studio working on a still life or the figure.She has developed a painterly expressive style which she uses to capture the essence of the subject and explore her love of form, colour and light. 

Rosie works mainly in oils but enjoys experimenting with a vairety of techniques in acrylic, watercolour, gouache, pastel and charcoal.
