My work explores the emotional landscape of women’s inner lives—often quiet, ambiguous, and intense.
Through portraiture and symbolic figurative painting, I aim to reveal what is felt but rarely spoken.
I’m drawn to stillness and gaze, using body language and subtle details to suggest narratives that are open-ended yet deeply personal.
I often work with self-portraiture and solitary female figures, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own experiences, memories and emotions.
I studied Fine Art at Stourbridge College of Art. After teaching Art for most of my career I am now dedicated to painting full time. I have a shared studio space in Whetstone.
